when you look up 84199890  it doesn't show it having the back trim or arm rest.  most of the threads on here claim it comes with it.
on gmpartsnow it shows customers also buying these parts , this puts the cost over $1000    .
 
im just a little confused.  do I just trust it and run with it?

This is the part numbers I used. My console is black with white thread with wireless charging. The top console piece (the part with the wood finish) is specific per truck and not listed in my part number list. If you want a console with dark grey thread (Ash) or red those are different part numbers. You will always need to buy the side trim pieces unless you find a pull on eBay.

Go to chevydirectparts.com: they are showing part number 23264448 for a 2016 Tahoe that has everything. If you search you may be able to find what you need.Johnny01:

Does the Tahoe fit Silverado ? Tahoe is the only one that shows a compete kit

Johnny01: The Web site says it doesn't. I don't know why. The interior is the same size, may be the wiring.

The suv conoles are different. The best thing you can do is got a dealer find a vehicle with the console color you want capture the vin and the rpo code and email gmpartsnow or gmpartsdirect and tell them you want the complete center console for that vehicle. I ordered my stuff from gmpartsnow because they kick out a 10 percent off coupon after a the parts are in your cart for a few days. Corbin is a good guy. Flloyd from gmpartsdirect is also awesome and they can help as well.

I'M still searching around, I haven't purchased one yet.I have purchased a plug and play harness for the console from PGAMBOA. He makes them up where you don't have to cut, splice the wiring. All he needs is some information about your truck. Saves a lot of time and trouble.He also has a video on YouTube. Need to watch it. He has a great reputation. I haven't received mine yet but he has all my information. Johnny01: p.s you pay him thru paypal.

      14-18 Sierra 1500 Heated Steering Wheel Help

      Howdy folks,   Recently I pulled a heated steering wheel and clock spring out of a 2015 Sierra All Terrain (part numbers coming soon - will have to disassemble), and just installed it on my 2016 Sierra WT (as base model as it gets).   On install, I noticed that I’m missing the connector often tucked behind the dash for the heating element.     No problem… or so I thought.   I used an “Add-A-Fuse” at my heated steering wheel fuse location, which has voltage, but no wires. I ran it to the positive of the heated steering wheel (Violet/White), and took black to ground.   Hooked up the battery, turned the truck on - no heated steering wheel. No button backlights. Was pleased to see that my cruise control was working though.   Read a post suggesting reversing polarity, so I gave it a shot. Violet and White to ground, Black to power.    Aha! Heat! But I seemingly can’t turn it off AND still no backlights on any of the buttons.    Checked all fuses, everything is still in good order. I’m stumped.   Does anyone have any insight? If so, please share!

      I'm about 1800 miles into my last oil change, and yesterday a message appeared saying oil life was at 77%. Not sure why it popped up but I think all of these electronics could be susceptible to solar flares or somesuch. I change my oil right at 3K each time, and that was the first time in 10870 miles that message came up. Strange thing is that it showed on the screen at all since I don't drive with that sort of info displayed on the DIC.

      Checked the pads today and there's plenty of meat on them. If the message keeps coming up, I'll just answer YES that the pads were replaced and wait for the squeal.

      Welcome to the Forum! Always post the code definitions along with the codes. there are over 18000 possible codes, no one remembers them all and most will skip over your post rather than look them up
