Where did you mount the camera? and did you have to go the dealership to get the options on the screen?

The camera mounted in the front under the top grille section. You need the trailer assist camera kit from GM in order to add on this option.

Do you know if this can be added to the 14s?!

Yes, the trailer assist camera can be add to the 14s according to GM.

I'm very interested in what you had to do to get this working and pics of the process! I would love that.

Not much to the truck today since I was doing a detail on a customers car. I did get my headlight trim sanded and ready for some primer. Hopefully buying some primer/paint tomorrow and some klearz.

Today was a busy day!! I did 15% tint on the front windows, 15% strip on the windshield, AVS chrome aeroskin and window visors, truxedo truxsport bed cover, K&N intake, and Borla ATAK dual exhaust. I took the picture before I did the exhaust it got too dark.

Did the first oil change. While it was in I had the Chevy CAI & Performance Muffler installed. Sounds like a truck now and not a Prius. Love the growl it has.

It is gonna be a trade off or wash on the 2 mpg that it is suppose to help. I love putting my foot in it a little more now. So the increase will probably be non-existent. ;)

so the 'blue-ing' of my interior is getting there....

i installed my speedo inlays from us-speedo. i LOVE them - they look soooo good!!

there are a couple of thing that need to change...

1 - the black part behind the tach is wrong. when things 'light up' they are not correct (head lights are on but the abs logo is illuminated). it looks like the black part is from the speedo inlay instead of the tach inlay - it's likely just the wrong back part got grabbed during assembly. i'm not too concerned. i emailed us-speedo over the weekend and i'm sure they'll send out a correct tach inlay right away (they've been great to deal with so far)

you can see below that something is definitely not right with the black part on the us-speedo inlay

2 - i need to remove the stock red LEDs behind the needles - they don't really illuminate the needles at all and i think the red looks goofy since everything else is blue. i'll be ordering both blue and white LEDs. i'll put blue in first. if they don't cut it then i change them to white

so here is the dash (i did paint the plate that shows voltage/temp/gas/oil pressure and i painted all the needles)... day and night shots....

and i continued to blue my interior buttons/knobs

the only 'blue-ing' left to do for buttons/knobs are my controls in the steering wheel and the 3 white LEDs in the rear view mirror

i'm really liking how it looks and can hardly wait to start adding footwell lighting and some other lighting accents

i will be posting a bunch of 'how-to' posts for the blue-ing of the buttons in my build thread in the next few days

Why do both sides have km/h?

that's why i said this...

i didn't notice it at first becuz unless there is back lighting you don't see thru the black part. i put the cluster back in the dash and turned the key to set my needles and that's when i noticed some of the logos only half lit up (becuz they were the wrong logos in the wrong spots).

if you check the us-speedo site, the one pic is this....

speedo_zpsij1njjza.jpg

you can see by the '5' there is a red illuminated air bag logo and looking at my stock inlay that is correct - so like i mentioned before, i'm pretty sure the speedo 'base/background' was used in error on my tach inlay. i'm sure us-speedo will just send me another tach inlay. i need to remove the cluster anyways to swap out the stock red LEDs, so i'll do that at the same time

I noticed when you held the 2 tachs side by side, but i have driven a newer truck a handful of times and never paid too much attention to the gauges. It threw me off some. When i saw it it was all i concentrated on in the post
