Hello,

I'm not sure how to remove the air filter housing. This isn't just replacing the air filter....this is removing that whole box so that I can access the passenger headlight bulb.

Do I have to remove some screws that I cannot get my hands down to?

Is it something I just yank on(attached by some clips?)?

Usually the bucket or bottom part of the air box is secured in with rubber style grommets. Just gotta tug and it will come up.

Just disconnect the tube to the box, unplug your maf, and give it a couple good tugs. It just presses into 2 rubber grommets. For some reason I always have a hard time snapping it back in though.

I pulled mine out a couple of weeks ago to install silverstar bulbs. I am trying to recall. I think there are a couple of 7mm screws you need to remove. Pull the air tube off. There are two plugs that go into grommets, you just pull up to pop them lose. There is a built in drain tube on the bottom of the air box that slides into a slot in the supporting tray. Once you have the box popped out of the grommets, you will need to wiggle/slide the air box toward the driver's side and it should come up.

Thanks guys. Just read your comments to remove air box. A must if your replacing passenger lamp on a 2015 Silverado.
After removing Inlet hose tug firmly to remove. I installed using a small dab of grease to lubricate grommets and stepped into box. Done.
Quick note the cover that goes over lamps can NOT be 180* off. It will not lock. ?
