Id be interested to know as well. I have a 6 inch fabtech with the same tires but on 22x11 Fuel's and I rub the plastic portion at the base of the fender closest to the cabin on both sides with the wheel turned in reverse backing down an incline like a driveway.

What's your offset? It looks pretty aggressive.

If this 4" lift fits 35x12.50s, then would you be able to do the same with a 2.5" RC and a 1.5" body lift? The tires I really want are the BFG KO2's in 285-65-20 which BFG says are 34.5x11.5 so they are a little narrower. The BDS lift sounds great but not the $2K price. More importantly I live on gravel and do NOT want the tires sticking out past the fenders as my paint would be trashed in no time and don't want flares either.

Thanks

That truck looks awesome with 35's. I'm running a 4" lift with 33's and have minor rubbing in the same area when I'm turning and backing up

Is this just any BDS 4" or any 4" that can fit these? I'm just not in to spending 2K just on the lift. Love the look!

BDS and Zone Off-road are the only ones I know of that can successfully fit a true 35x12.5x20 on their 4" kits.

I wonder why you can run 35" tires on 20" wheels, but BDS and Zone suggest 33" tires for 18" wheels? I'm having the 4.5 Zone put on mine next week and I have 18" wheels and I have a set of 33 and 35 tires. I'm running 33 now, but going to try and squeeze the 35's on it.

Looking forward to some pics man! I've got the zone 4.5 with 295/60/20s with -12 offset. I believe those tires are 34x11.6. They only rub in reverse but I believe that's only bc of the offset. Good luck though!

I was wondering the same thing and then looked at the backspacing specs for the rims on each combo and the 18" rim has a less backspacing. (Like 4.5 right?) I imagine that may be the culprit. I asked Zone about running a 35x12.5 on a 20x9 rim with the same backspacing and they said you'd need to trim some metal. But a 33x12.5 on a 20x9 w/ 4.5" backspacing would fit without any issue they said.

Thought I'd post this here since I used this thread for research before getting this BDS kit.

Thought I'd add some input after getting the BDS 4" w/ Fox shock upgrade. The ride is so much better than my stock Z71 setup with ReadyLIft leveling kit that the two can't be compared. Not sure if it was the leveling kit that made the ride stiffer or just the way the Rancho Z71 is but the BDS kit rides amazingly well. I used to feel every bump in the road with the Rancho setup and now the ride is smooth. Have Method 20" wheels with 33" Toyo AT2/s.

I plan on getting a set of the King Shocks OEM coilovers for the front, they can make them in custom lengths. Just have to measure the full extended strut length at full drop. I got the rear blocks in this kit because I didn't know if the rear leafs would be stiffer than stock.

Ordered the kit direct from BDS and had it drop shipped for free at a local retailer. It saved me from paying sales tax and came out cheaper than buying locally. I paid about $1200 for install but also got a quote for $800 from a shop a bit further away from me.

Mike here is your answer...eafe0f56b7e616b51ad5f816d8c47f68.jpg

Just installed them today.

35x12.5x18 on a Zone 4.5, no rubbing at all.

what is your backspacing? And those are 35s? Look smaller than I thought they would. I wonder why the OP's 35s look so much larger..

I'm not sure of the back spacing I will go look in a bit but the are 35's, my 33's looked like a spare donut on there.

    • I agree with Tim.  As tech heavy as engines are these days, no way I’d be an early buyer of the new 6.6.  Of course, I bought my ‘26 Denali w/the 6.2 after dumping my Tundra with it’s defective 3.5 liter imploding engine disaster, so I’m a little gun-shy.  That said, my 6.2 has been rock solid.  I don’t drive it like I do my BMW Z4 M40i, but I don’t baby it either.  I got a V8 for a reason.  But I’m averaging 18 around town and 22 highway.  I have seen 24 highway as well when I wasn’t loaded up heavy.  Considering my Tundra with the twin turbo V6 only got 14.5 in town and 17 on the road, I’ll take the 6.2 all day, every day.  If I were you, I’d grab a ‘26 while you can.  Inventories are probably gonna start dropping and I’ll bet the deals will start looking sweeter as well.
    • I am curious if anyone has figured out a way to add an hard button AUX or 360 Camera switch to the center row of switches. I have a 2021 AT4, and want to split the hill decent button and add a 360 camera button so that you don't have to go into the center display and locate the camera functionality, etc...   My father's 2024 Yukon XL AT4 and it has a hard button, see below. I found this thread on the Yukons, but it seems like there may not be a part number for the 2021 sierras. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/255339-adding-hard-button-for-camera-on-2021/ Anyone else figured this out. Seems like it would need to be a custom switch!   I am getting ready to install the auto stop/start eliminator, so would be nice to knock them out at once.     Upvote1Downvote0Go to comments
    • Looks like the entire state is burning. 😬
    • Through the years it hasn't been my typical method as I tried to drop oil on an engine that was hot from having been worked, however that was not always practical and had to fire up a unit and let it warm up reasonably well and drop the oil when I had the time to do it but am referring to not only vehicles but a variety of farm equipment and highway tractors etc. However on a vehicle where one is crawling under it and the exhaust is nearby to ones body and if wanting to pull the plug without danger of being hit with boiling hot oil or attempting to remove a HOT oil filter, its sure safer and easier to not have everything smoking hot and can remove the filter right away when under the vehicle and let it all drain. Of course its not the end of the world if a bit of oil stays in the engine that might have eventually found its way out, I like to get out as much as possible but any oil changes that take place in shops would rarely be sitting around for very long at all before the plug is thrown back in and filter slapped on and oil poured in and sent out the door quick like. There would be very little time spent ( assuming they even did it ) in starting the engine with oil to fill the filter, then waiting to verify the level on the stick. A good reason to check ones oil level shortly after a shop changed the oil on a vehicle just to make sure its correct and to look under for any oil around the drain plug or filter.
