Headlight Halos

There isn't anything wrong with mine they work great. Only complaint I had was the stock bulbs that came in them.. They were junk. Once I installed my HID kit there is plenty of light. I've always had HID kits so stock light output is dead to me lol.

has anyone found these halos but for the Sierra. I am considering either trying to find the halos for mine or if I want to let the oracle place by my house do more than just halos, like outline the LED strips. Waiting to see how a SEMA truck with this set up is finished being built for this year's show so I can see what it would be like

I would gladly trade the halo/rings on my Sierra for headlights that actually worked. I almost hit a guy on the side of the road the other night. He was just out side the 4 car length shine of my lights, then there he was. 45 years on a motor cycle taught me not to out drive my headlights. I was already going 10 under the posted on a country rd. no street lights. I have been driving around at night with the high beams on and no one ever flashes me. That alone scares me.

I've done the same thing, driven around with my highs on, and 1 out of 15+ cars flashed me. I had factor HIDs on my last two cars as does the wife's SUV and I'll take those over my sierra projectors any day.

So the aftermarket HIDs are on order. - and as soon as I can find a set of LED fogs that aren't backordered, they'll be put in too.

Per custom shop currently installing Oracle halos:

"The build I have going on right now is using Oracle RGB halos and they really aren't made for the new Sierras like they say they are. The rings will not sit back flush as they don't have a large enough diameter to clear the projector lens. For the money it should have been a perfect fit. It is also killing me that the factory LED DRL's dim when headlights are on. It makes it really hard to match colors of the LEDs"

I see a lot of aftermarket lights with halos. I'm wondering what you guys think about them. When do you use them?

Are they a passing trend that will look like blue differential lights in a couple years?

It really depends on the vehicle to me, I did a 4 projector retrofit on my Tahoe with halos, didn't end up liking them and cut the wire to the halos.

It all depends how you look at the halos some people like em some don't. I had them in my 2010 camaro and loved them. ugage6a4.jpgtejegyva.jpg

I added halos to my 2004 M3 and it looked awesome. I plan on doing the same to the Silverado, but it will likely be harder, as apparently the headlight assembly is harder to take apart.

On the BMW I had a set of Orion V4s from Umnitza. I think they don't make anything for the K2XX, but they do for GM trucks and SUV's 2013 and under.
