I bought new wheels/tires for the truck but

The offset on my wheels isn't enough.. I went -18 offset figuring they would stick out

Enough for my satisfaction but I'm wanting more.

Has anyone had any luck with bolt on wheel adapters? Are they safe?

Would doing just the front 2 tires be ok? Or would I need do all 4..

Considering maybe a 2" adapter fyi

On my 2010 i put 2 inch on. No trimming of the studs needed. I then put 1.25 on and had to trim the nipples off. 1.5 you may get away without triming but i doubt it. I had them on for 2 years. No problems

1.5" you still gotta trim that little nipple off stock studs, no biggie at all. They are fine as long as you torque them to spec then recheck after 100-200 miles. Then you should be fine. I ran them for years 37's.

it is not recomended. many people do with no problems but i have seen wheels that fall off due to spacers. however it is unk what kind of spacers they had or if the spacer/wheel was torqued to specs.

Glad to hear. What brand did u choose?

I got some no name brands off of ebay from a trusted seller and good reviews from the spacers. They were 130ish i believe

This^ they're on eBay for 135. The sellers feedback is legit. But like stallion said make sure they are torqued to spec and you'll be good. For every inch they stick out past stock it's 10 times harder on the front end parts. (Ball joints and such) and power steering pump. Not that it matters.. Just thought I'd throw that out.

Look for hubcentric spacers. People who lose their wheels are usually running the other kind of spacers. Hub centric disperses the weight of the wheel more evenly
