Both of the above messages came on today. No clue why. Anyone else have this or had this fixed. What was the cause. Thanks.

Its going in on Monday. Just thought I'd ask to see if it turned out to be a simple fix, something not needed to visit the dealer.

Keep us posted on this. I got the same 2 messages on my DIC last Thursday when we had snow and ice. The messages and dash light stayed on for about 24 hours and then went away. Hasn't come back yet but I plan to have it looked at sometime.

Def will. Although I'm sure it will go away on the way to the dealer tho.

So I went to the dealer. They don't know why it activated. They checked all the possibilities they believe may have caused it, but everything came up clean.

Also to note. I plugged in the Range V8 AFM device a couple days prior to this. I wonder if their related?

So everything is good now. I guess I plug it in again and we see if it comes back.

It has been noted devices plugged into the ALDL port can cause communication issues on the CANBUS and cause messages.

Yes the dealer said there were a bunch of "lost communication....." stored in history.

My bet is the Range device is causing the issue. The new CANBUS doesn't like the extra "noise" in the system from external devices.

glad u posted I was thinkin about getting a range but if its gonna cause communication problems no thanks

Well I'm not 100% sure that this was caused by the Range product. So I wouldn't write them off at this time. Currently its been plugged back in for over 36hrs with no issues. Also note that Range has stated that the module for the 2014 is still in beta testing.

Thanks. If it comes up again, I'll mention it to the dealer.

Came back on again this morning. 2° outside. I believe the last time it came on it was this cold as well. Back to the dealership again!

Had to look up "Range V8 AFM" as I didn't know what it was. :dunno: Just curious why would you want this device? Seems to me you would want your vehicle in V4 whenever possible to save on gas. Not criticizing....just curious.
