Hello,

I just wanted to post a pic of my 2011 LS Silverado with the 2014 wheels on it. I've seen several people asking what their trucks would look like with this setup. Let me know what you think.

I also have a question for the experts..... Can my 2011 truck read the TPMS readings from the 2014 wheels? Right now i'm getting an error.... If their is a chance i can get the dealer to calibrate them i would like to get it right. If you've had any experience with this, please let me know.

The recalibration steps as follows: Turn the key to the on position but dont start the truck. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote at the same time until the horn honks. Start letting air out of the drivers front tire until the horn honks again, then move to passengers front and do the same thing, then passengers rear then drivers rear. Make sure you let air out until the horn honks for each wheel. Turn key off and reair the tires. This works on trucks up to 2011.

I love those wheels! There's no other wheel I would have on a K2 gen truck. And I wouldn't mind them on my gmt800...

If you don't mind me asking, how much did they cost?

I got the wheels and tires and nuts for 850 on Craigslist they had 100 miles on them.

Thanks for the calibration tips, I will give it a shot. Does anyone know if my 2011 truck will talk to the 2014 sensors though? Or did they updated/change the sensors for the new body style?

If the sensors don't work after they are re-learned, the part numbers are different between both year trucks so there may be a frequency difference between the two. Mind you, the vehicle communications systems between the two are night and day.

I was at the dealer yesterday and the guy in parts told me the 2014 rims wouldn't fit a gmt900! He said the lug pattern changed!! Shows what the dealer knows!! I'm glad they do interchange. Looks great, by the way!!

do you have the sensors that came off the truck? you could swap them out and probably sell the 14 sensors to a 14 owner that's going with custom wheels or winter/summer wheels easily enough to cover the cost of them breaking the tires and swapping the sensors.... just a thought

Does anyone know the GM Part number for the "GMC" center that fits these wheels? (Rims that the OP shows in his picture.)

Thanks - Doug
