Aftermarket LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL's)

I tapped into the yellow wire going into the headlight harness on the passenger side

Thank you for all the info, finally got my pics up

G3s installed

(not the updated style, will be sending these back once new ones that go all the way around are released)

Not happy that the wires were gray (I know small detail, but annoying that they show next to grille)

Do love how they look

Install was a pain due to the small gage wires

Spliced them into the yellow running light wires

Returned mine a week or so ago, got my money back. Now I wait for the redesigned.

Note to anyone installing these. Red wire is the headlight and yellow is parking lights. Once the truck is in gear the DRL kicks in and will light up the led if you hook to the red wire.

Well the LEDs I ordered didn't fit between the headlights (were about 1/8" too wide) so I decided to make use of them elsewhere. They were the perfect length to fit just above the center part of the bumper so I gave it a shot, turned out pretty good and looks great going down the road...

They haven't released the new ones yet. I will post pics once I get them installed.

These finally showed up today, last time I talked to Putco they told me the 15th of June so these should be the new design but it still doesn't have and resemblance to the picture they show for them.

Looks like this might be the best route to take for the price. And Putco cant seem to get their product to match up with their pictures
