Here's what I came up with. Wired them to my fog lights. Pretty easy to do. They show up really well in the daytime. The photos don't do them justice.

Here's without them on. Thought the install came out pretty clean.

Nice.

Anyone figure out how to make headlights always on so they act like DRLs? I'd also like to link the headlights and fog lights so it all comes on automatically.

How bright are these? Are they comparable to the 16 silverado DRL brightness and color?

I couldn't answer in comparison to the 16 but they are definitely bright. The pic does no justice in color or brightness. At night with just the parking lights and leds, the led shines right out onto the ground. I'll see if I can get better pics

Jeff, what brand are those? This is where I would put them too. Can't decide what type to get. Putco makes a switch back that mounts there now, with the leds spanning the whole length.

im going a little different route with LED DRLs....

i installed these (http://www.opt-7.com/cree-v2-series-led-fog-light-replacement-bulbs/) in my fogs... and will be wiring them to come on with ignition in the on/run position, therefore acting as DRL (will also get the "fog on with high beam" this way)

I have HIDs in my low beam so I removed the spring in the headlight switch....

Have the LEDs installed but have not wired them as DRL yet... that will happen this week
