Nope... Looks like some Xmas tree lights fell out of the attic onto that guys truck.

 

Sorry.. Would you expect anything less from somebody with my name but seriously that was uncalled for. I would have to see them in person to give it a fair shake but from what I see in the pictures I'm not digging them.

I thought the led daytime running lights looked great on the sierra and wanted them on my silverado

They do look good on the Sierra, at least they do to me. I don't think those look anywhere near as good as the GMC though. Look cheap and out of place. Again... Personal opinion.

 

I also would be interested in seeing them in person or in a good picture with them on your truck.

I don't think they look bad.. and I have the GMC with the LED's. How do you install? they are inside the light housing correct?

No they mount between the two headlights on a black strip. It's easy to see where in this pic

They also make g3 that are a solid line. I liked the g2 better.

I like the G2 as well.. but the "solid" G3 is the tread. Just look at Audi.. and some of the Germans. These German cars set the trend. I bet GMC will have a solid line LED in a few years. They will have to do a minor style change before the next big in 2021.....and I would guess that would be one of them.

All you guys looking to get them, post pics when u do, I want to see what they look like when u walk up on them. I keep picturing it as some cheap LED strip velcro'd to my truck with a battery hanging down somewhere with frayed wires and duct tape on it. If the install looks clean and factory then I would be a little more interested.

I order mine from Amazon about 2 weeks ago and Putco is supposedly out of stock until the 28, so I'm still waiting.
