Please post pictures when you guys get these in. I was looking at them but was afraid they might not look too great when the lights are not on.

I've seen these.. Not sure how I feel about them tho. I have the oracle halo kit awaiting install I like the concept much more than these. Although the g3 solid led strip thing doesn't look to bad.. Just kinda odd they're right in the center of the light.. Looking forward to the install pics.

lucky. I should have canceled my order on Amazon since they still won't ship until the 28 and placed the order somewhere else.

For the putco drl there's a few videos

For the halos. Is up to the person that wants them. Either risk damaging your headlight, pay more for pro installs, or just don't do it and wait for an aftermarket headlight with halos. Which is what I'm going to do.

How hard is the install on these? DIY or shop needed?

 

It honesty depends on how handy you are and if you're willing to take the risk of ruining near 600 dollar headlights each lol. These headlights are Permasealed (permanently sealed) and it seems sketchy to remove the lenses.. The traditional oven treatment may work but it will make the plastic very brittle and easier to crack mounting tabs if you're not a pro. Oracle offers install for around 200 bucks and it seems reasonable considering the possibilities. They also offer a warranty on condensation build up inside the lens. I'm sending mine there and having a whole custom light done. Going to be quad projectors, higher quality projectors, ( not the junk OEM ones.. ) different painted shrouds and clear turn signal lenses. I'll have a set of led switch backs for my signals to stay legal. It won't be for about a month or so.. But I'll be sure to start a thread explaining everything done in more detail and what I paid.
