Stake hole pocket covers?

I have not had to remove mine at all and don't really plan to. I can tell you they are a snug fit so may require a small flathead screwdriver to help pry them up.

I made a custom rack that bolts to the bed, no drilling. Used a simple piece of bar steel painted matte black. Matched up to the anodized black aluminum rack great. I had to make a custom rack because I still wanted access to my bed, did not want the bak rack to be touched by the rack.

So the rack covers my holes.

I bought a set of the new stake hole covers and I think they are great. They look very good and I don't need the two holes in the bed. Gives a nice smooth look and something I don't need to get into the bed.

Not sure if anyone has come across https://railcaps.com butI think its the exact solution you're looking for with the year/model of your truck. They make press-fit stake pocket hole covers for 2014-2017 Silverados and Sierras and they're only $25 on the website with free shipping, he's also got them on ebay for a few bucks more. Hope this helps!

That's the original guy that started selling them on ebay (they are only $20 there). They are great but he doesn't have the ones for the front set of "square" holes yet. Last time I heard from him he was going to try to scan those and make them too.

Thanks gents, I was looking at them today wondering why GM leaves just a hole without the option of placing caps in them.

Makes no sense to me, I use that handle every time I get into the bed. I do a lot of work with my truck and it's a life saver having the step and handle combo
