Snow plow and Electric steering

Anyone know if we can put a snow plow on a 14 since it has electric steering? I was looking at one that weighs around 600lbs.

Plow prep is regular cab only. On other cab configs it is at your own risk.

My installer is going to put my boss on my truck later this year before the next snow season. I spoke with him at length about it and he has no issue doing the install but I had to come to grips with the possibility of needing to make some cuts in the front.
The way these trucks have front fascia and then lower skirts so low the issue is clearance for the truck-side mount.
I'm probably going to have a "winter" front that has the cuts in it that I will just remove at the end of the season. I wont be able to deal with driving around all summer with 2 big gashes cut in the front.

From the looks of things when we laid it out on a sierra slt the mounts for my plow will be fairly high up so we estimated about 4-5" needed to be cut for each side where the frame and plow will meet.
Because of the lift im doing there's a possibility that I wont need to cut so much because there will be more room to hang the mount down. When I get it done I'll happily provide further details.
But to answer the question, at least for the truck I'm getting there was no issue mentioned by my installer for installing one.

I flat out asked at the dealer and was told no plow for 1/2 ton truck 3/4 only. Then I was told I could do it but I would void all warranty.

Your salesperson is not up to speed. Plow prep package is available for reg cab 4wd 1/2 tons.
