2014 Door Handle and Mirror Caps?

On the 07 thru 13 GM trucks the mirror caps came painted already. I ordered a set for my 09 from my dealer and they were. Don't know about the new ones. It would seem that would be a big headache to not get them painted at the factory. Oh well another cost savings measure I guess.

if it helps anyone I simply wrapped my mirrors and door handles in 3M gloss black vinyl wrap. looks every bit as good as painted!

requires a little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer and I was able to stretch and wrap the entire mirror cap in 1 piece with no seams! same for the door handles, they are 2 pieces and I wrapped each piece with a single piece and reinstalled them. I spend maybe 50 bucks on vinyl

I think im going to plastidip my chrome side moldings.

 

anyone want to buy a set of chrome 18" all terrain wheels and tires? that the nest project on my list.

Do you have any pics of your mirror and handle wraps? I don't think I've seen any vinyl that's high gloss, mostly satin finish.
