And he doesnt have more hp because he has a 4.8 with what I believe to be a 3.08. Truck has no balls at all but is perfect for cruising and mpg's, up to 25 calculated by hand!

 

But if I ever have to replace my 2000 I would either do it with a new K2, a 2002 or a 2006. It would be white, have the 5.3/3.73, and rwd.

I don't think they offered a 3.08 in the 800's, pretty sure it was a 3.23, which is almost no different anyway

My 06 sle has everything in it so why not just get the sle?

I couldn't reach mine from the ground, at least not without rubbing all over the paint. So I just climb onto the bumper for that kind of stuff.

Ever hear of a fender cover? ;)

Fender covers do no good if there's dust underneath. If it moves it will scratch. Lucky for me I have a powder-coated piece of steel to stand/lay/sit on, and I don't care if that gets scratched anyways.
