Ordered My '14 Sierra All Terrain White Diamond Tricoat

I own 3 BMWs, GMC has the closest quality to what I am accustom too. I have test drove or visited every truck on the market, but when it came to quality materials, GMC... I went back and forth between the Dodge Ram 2500 Cumins and the GMC's Allison Tranny. I realized that I will not be towing that much and the fact that I will be driving this truck everyday, GMC 1500 was the best choice for me. The 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 is the best looking and specs appear to be the most capable truck on the market. This will not only be my first truck, it will be the first brand new vehicle I've ever purchased. I have a build date of 5 May 2014. From every build post I've read, it appears I will be waiting for about 3 months to receive my truck. Can't wait!

I have purchased some mods already:

2014 GMC Fog Light Upgrade / Rigid Industries Led Lighting

2pcs CREE XBD 50W T10 W5W 194 168 921 LED Width Lamp car wedge light bulb white

Future Mods:

RETRAX PowertraxPRO Bed Cover

HID Kit

Possible Leveling Kit

Grill

Here are my specs:

With the 15 models right around the corner, did you consider waiting for the newer model? I understand they should be out the first part of summer.

Why not wait for the improvements that the 15's will carry?

It may be a 15 model. I put the order in 7 April, It's just how it fell out. No biggie though. I may be able to get a better deal. Dealership said they will sale it to me at supplier pricing plus my military incentives.

You might want to do some negotiating. You are leaving a lot of money on the table going supplier pricing.

so what about employee pricing.....allways wonder if i could get a better price before i disclosed employee status.

MSRP on my truck is about $58K. I was quoted $49K supplier pricing plus military discounts. So I am expecting around $10K off MSRP. If there's better pricing I will ask.

Employee pricing is fine as long as you are getting the factory to dealer rebates that are not advertised.

Factory to dealer rebates.....is this a dollar amount or a percentage?

I've bought many new autos using GM employee discount and never heard of this.

Ditto, please explain because we always just get the rebates plus the employee pricing.

Generally the new model year is Sept /Oct.

The incentives are going to be significantly less until all the 14s are off the lots. Buying now is fine
