Replaces the vacuum system for your brakes with the 2500 system that uses the power steering fluid for assistance. Way better pedal feel and stopping power. I have a how to for it from a few years back, probably buried in that section by now

I think I saw the How-To whenever I was cleaning up that section. I'll have to check it out.

Haha! I just looked at the write up. I may have to do it later on, sounds like a nice mod. You can never have to good of brakes.

I have to go back and add to my list. I forgot about replacing the catalytic converters. Im not sure which ones to go with though.

Here are the brake lines. They're actually cheaper then what I thought they would be.

I think I paid $120 for the 4 inch extension kit, came with all 5 hoses, for my 02. I got mine through Goodridge I believe

Never heard of Goodridge. Is that a local parts store?

No its the name brand of the hoses. I think they were the only one to offer them for my truck that were extended

Ohhhh I see. I've searched for lines before, and these were all I could find for mine. I thought for sure they'd be $150 or more.

Worth the cost and effort honestly

I've never tried a set before. Do they make a difference? I bought a set from Wilwood for my old Z28 one time, but I never got to try them because they didn't fit.

Improves the pedal feel, supposed to improve braking distance bc they claim the hose doesn't expand before sending fluid to the calipers. Not sure if I buy that, but I needed longer lines for the 7 inch lift anyways

Well, for the price of these I'm not afraid to try them.

Once i get done with the interior on my truck im going to finish the exhaust. I was looking at Magnaflows cats, you can get them as a stand alone weld/clamp in or with all the pipe from the manifold to where they clamp on to the factory exhaust/cat-back, and come in stainless. Kinda pricy for my truck but i like the fact i can just bolt them in and go.
