I didn't want to go any higher in the rear considering I didn't want to have to use a drop hitch

I just want something for when I haul things the truck doesn't sit with the nose in the air, but I don't want a lot of rake either.

Helper springs are exactly what you're looking for then

Looks like that's what I'll go with then.

So I went to lower the front of the truck some today because I decided I wanted a little more rake. When I went to do that I noticed that it must have settled some because it was actually lower then when I initially installed the keys. So I ended up raising it a little bit, and this is where it's at now.

So today I did a small repair. My passenger side OSRV mirror glass was about ready to fall off so I took the mirror off of the truck.

When I got the glass off I found that the turn signal bulb assembly had also seperated from the glass. I had to cut the wires so I could position the assembly to be glued back on to the glass.

Then after I let that dry for about 5 hours I wired the lights back up with heat shrink connectors.

Then I added caulking, and reinstalled the glass. It's currently drying over night.

So those mirrors have a defroster??

Yea sir. Defrost, turn signal, power fold, auto-dim, and they also turn down the glass to aim at your wheels when you go into reverse.

Also took the ratty rear mud flaps off, and painted the rear drums black because the winter was hard on them.

Here are the next few projects:

- Replace Catalytic Converters.

- Send out the instrument cluster to be rebuilt, and add a trans temp guage.

- Order & install rebuilt Powerstop front brake caliper's, and Russell Braided brake lines.

- Install sound deadener on the floor and up the rear of the cab, and clean up the carpet.

Is there a particular reason for the powerstop calipers? Maybe a refresh of the lines, fluid, and OEM calipers would be more beneficial.

Here's my 2 cents... stainless braided hoses and hydroboost

Forgot about the lines. Russell makes braided lines that I plan on getting too. What's the hydroboost all about?

When I put pads on last year the caliper's weren't working very good. I got the slides working again, but they don't work very smooth. I was just holding off on replacing the caliper's until later on. The truck stops okay, but I know it should be stopping better.
