It does look like a focus problem more so than a resolution problem to me. I wonder if we can use a tape on lens that can help focus it? I will try tomorrow with a lens thingy I have, just to see at least!

Did you ever get a chance to check this out? A bit curious on this too. My Wife's Mazda CX-5 isn't great, but seems more focused than my Silverado.

I finally converted a movie to play on the screen and the resolution was so bad I knew I would rather use my phone. It's smaller, but doesn't take converting all while playing in HD. I don't know if the camera is the issue. I might have lost quality when I converted the movie over though.

Hey sorry I took so long. I didnt crack the factory lense open. I mearly played with other lenses to see if I could change the focal point. I was not successful.

 

I have converted movies to play on the screen and used mp4 settings coming from HD mkv files. it looked fine to me for a screen that size.

I can't get any MP4 files to play. I've tried converting some from Blue Ray, from MKV, and direct from GoPro. What converter are you using?

After our programming they really like Divx files, plus you can run AVI then as well

What is your programming and what else can we change? I'd love to get the DIC to return to the last used part after a phone call. Raise the speed the doors lock or distance if that is what is doing it. Be nice if the seat belt chime started at 10 or 15 mph. Reduce the crap the voice command explains before listening. Everyone understands after the first week or two of using it. I could probably go on for way to long.

I used handbrake. I like keeping it simple. You must change the resolution to what the screen is. I forget, will have to look tomorrow what the res is.
