What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

I pushed it around and onto a trailer, watched it get hauled away by a K2XX Z71 LT. They came prepared, dolly for the block, long ramps for the car, and a winch to help pull that dead monster up there. Still needed some manpower to make it though, but its gone now

Sorry to see it go. Enjoyed seeing it on here.

Went to start the Trans Am up today since I haven't driven it much since buying the truck, and it didn't want to start. I only took the battery tender off a week ago, but put it back on after it wouldn't start so I can try again tomorrow.

 

The thing is the key fob opened it just fine and the headlights came on so there's some battery power at least. It made a REALLY loud noise when I tried starting it. Almost like if you've ever heard someone trying to start a car that's already running except louder. May be a bad starter. At least that's my guess.

I tried jumping it today and it started. I let it run for a few minutes then tried starting it up again without the jumper cables and it started but had a little hesitation. I'm thinking I might have a bad starter.

Sounds like battery to me.

I'm hoping it's just the battery. The battery has a 2013 date on it so i wouldn't think it would go bad this quickly, but I'll have it tested to make sure. That would be a lot easier and cheaper fix.

Here we are at Indianapolis motor speedway going into turn one. Hit 100 on the back straight. In the rain! Many more pics on Sunday night.

 

Over 8,000 Corvettes registered. Not sure how many will show up with the semi rainy weekend.
