Husky X-Act Contour

Hi All,

Been lurking on the forum for about 2 months now.. Picked up my new '14 Denali 2 weeks ago. Will put up a post about that in the correct section.

Just curious, been searching and cant find a definitive answer. I've always had the husky "classic" mats in my trucks, they don't offer them for the '14. Only Weatherbeater and X-Act, I like the look of the X-Act better, but my concern is I cant find out if they cover the sill plate or not? I'd hate to get the nice Denali sill plate covered up!

Thanks

Just installed these mats tonight and yes the cover up the sill plate. They do seem well made and are more "rubbery" than plastic feeling like my WeatherTechs were in my Accord (which seemed slippery). I'll post some pics once I finish cleaning the truck up tomorrow.

Would appreciate the pics gone_fishing.

I was all set to order these, don't like the idea of covering up the shiny sill plate

I've been pro Weathertech for years but I actually like the X-act fits mats much better, they stay put and conform to the floor better. I don't need a mat that goes 4 inches up the kick plate, I'm not pissing on the floor.

gone_fishing - Thank you for the pics...

I love the look of the mat, and would be ordering these today, except I don't know how I feel about covering up the sill plate....

Anyone know of any mats that don't? They all seem to now

I like mine.....I just have the SLE truck though so I don't have any fancy sill plates to concern myself with.

I have the weathertechs and wasn't that fond of the fit and I've been owning their products for 7+ years.

I have the Husky X-Act mats now and they are really nice. Husky has put out some quality stuff for the Silverado. I have their mud guards and rear storage compartment as well.

Thanks for the input guys...Probably going to order the X-Act and see how I like them.

Maybe I shouldn't care so much about covering up the sill plates...But I'm special :smash:

I'm thinking if you really don't want to cover 'em up grab a straight edge, sharpie and some scissors and get to cutting a little bit off.

Ordered up the X-Act Contour last night. Will see how they look when they come in!

See if I want to customize them or not

Do the Husky X Acts go all the way under the rear seat in a crew cab? I'm debating the huskys vs weathertechs, but i really want the entire rear floor covered. It is my understanding the weathertechs go all the way to the back of the back cab wall. It's nice when i'm hauling my dogs with the rear seat folded up.

I have the husky front seat liners and the weather tech in the rear.

I have the weathertech in the back seat for the same reason, I have 2 Great Danes so I need the full coverage lol
