All weather floor mats

Does anybody know anything about this recall dealing with these floor mats? I have these that were dealer installed, RPO VAV. I have inspected the mats and the driver side mat has the retaining devices installed to prevent movement so what is the deal with these mats?

If you have a option for refund, weathertech floor mats are great I have them installed front and back.

The back goes under seat across all the back.

Recall is for trucks built with vinyl floor and all weather mats. RPO "vav" and "bg9". Owners are offered a $160 buy back of the mats.

I bought the AllWeather Coasters - what a waste.

 

within the first month - i ordered Husky Liners. Nothing against Weathertech- I liked how Husky was priced and the appearance.

 

I LAUGHED OUT LOUD when I installed them, and put the GM mat on top….

I did the same thing. Husky Weatherbeaters, wall to wall, with the factory postage stamps on top.

I felt dumb when I ordered all weather mats from the dealer while I was negotiating my truck deal. Then I got in the truck and it already had mats in it. Now I have the stock mats and some mats with GMC on the side of them. Both aren't anything special.
