Would love a supercharger on my truck.

PHANTOMLS3 used to have a pickup with the Hennessey SC540 package. I don't think he had any complaints with the performance.

The red one in the video they posted said it was a 6.2. Had the hpe650 package iirc.

Why does hennessey suck? They built the venom and tuned plenty other high performance vehicles. I guess they are overpriced?

Agreed. I came from a Cadillac CTS-V and I wouldn't have let them anywhere near my car.

Hennessey made a bad name of themselves back during the viper days when they were taking parts off of customers cars and selling them to other customers as new and then stiffing the customer the parts came off of with no reimbursement for the parts being taken from them.

 

I wouldn't use them either, it would be Callaway or Edelbrock if it was me or a Mangeson SC installed by a local shop.

I can vouch for the edelbrock my 6.2 made 537 hp at the wheel, same kit that they put on the stingray making 624 at the crank. I still get better than 20 mpg highway and retain stock drivability.

I think the kit is 6800 bucks and you can install it yourself! complete with tune ready to go.

Hennessey had some big time issues several years ago but I think has since turned the company around. I can't say I've heard any negative like before on them in quite some time. They still tune and work on so many amazing vehicles and I believe they have built a solid reputation again.

Check the badge on the top right. Their website says that package comes with a warranty. The owner was told to go to gm for a warranty. Sounds like a great company.
