Temperature Display Stuck on 86 Degrees

Does anybody know if there's a way to reboot the MyLink system and maybe reset the temp display to allow it to display the outside temperature correctly? I hate to have to take it to the dealer for this minor problem but I will if there's no other option.

Leave the driver door open for 5 minutes with key out of ignition. Sounds funny but I called GM when my link was acting weird in my truck. I laughed but that's what they told me and it worked

I thought about the battery cable thing but didn't know if it would erase all my settings. However, I ran an errand last night and it registered 91°. It's been over 100° here for the last few days but, according to my truck, it stayed 86° 24 hours a day for over a week . I guess it cleared itself for whatever reason but I'm not complaining!!

No, not yet.

I was asking because mine did the same thing after tuning, it cleared up after a day or so. No problem since.

Well mine now reads 32 degrees and it's 102 here today. Called the dealer and am taking it over at 8:30 in the morning. They said it was probably the sensors located behind the grille.

Tried it and it went from 86 degrees to 32. That's where has stayed since.

I noticed mine was stuck at 82 degrees on Saturday, but it was 101 here. I forgot to look today if it corrected. Strange issue.

I disconnected my battery in the morning and plugged it back in at lunch to reset the computer (dealer put 87 octane in it when I purchased it). After plugging back in my outside temperature was stuck at 32 degrees. When I went to leave work that day it was working again. You may just need to give it some time to reset after disconnecting the battery.
