It's growing on me, but it still looks too Euro-ish for the name-plate.

It would not be easily noticed in a sea of coupes (or sedans). Kudos for the performance, but I wish they would have been a little more original with the design.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one who doesn't like the looks.  Acctually I think they plain out stink.  I see a Grand Am when I look at it.  I may get flamed for this.  But all GM Cars I think are but Ugly.  Besides the Vette.  I was glasd to see the Camaro and Bird go only because of looks.  Everything has gone down hill.  I think that Pontiac could have taken lessons from Ford.  Look at the 2005 Mustang.  Then look at the new GTO.  Yea the GTO will out do the Stang but looks count for a big part of purchase.  I can see Grandma driving the new GTO.    on Pontiac.  Well I said my bit.

Its not aggressive enough.  Just another blob on the road.  I can't fault the mechanicals, but the exterior is just too bland.  I do have to applaud GM for not making it an automatic only.  Bob Lutz is obviously having some effect on that giant bureaucracy.

It's a mean-looking cross between an Alero and a Cougar, and possibly some form of a Saturn.  And that doesn't say much...
