Vibration / Clunk

wilks3, My truck has this same vibration/shake issue. I also was asked to wait for a fix.... 10 months ago. To date, the only fix I have found was "sell the truck for another brand". NOT my first choice as I just spent $43k on it, and like this truck (less the vibration/shake). Very disappointing.

Good Luck.

kazaman, Yes its totally wrong that GM won't fix this problem. And you can't tell me they don't know what it is either. I just tried to trade it off on a new 2014 RAM 1500 Express......................I paid $29,500.................7mos later..................trade-in at $19,500. I'm stuck for another year at least. I just keep it under 60MPH or blame it on the roads when driving over 63MPH. 364 days to go...................

I just purchased a leftover 2014 2wd reg cab with the 5.3. After I come to a complete stop I am feeling what seems to be a bump from the rear end. I don't even have 200 miles on the vehicle yet. I see the last post on this thread is from september 30th of 2014. Has there been any resuloution from GM regarding this? I almost feel like taking it back as it become more and more noticable. In the last 50 miles. At first I thought I was crazy until I googled it.

Big thread on this. But to quickly answer your question, sounds like it still affects quite a few trucks, many guys have had a lot of different work (*also found in the thread below)

That's the symptom of the driveline slip yoke sticking. Easy fix!
