2014 Rear Axle Ratio

Hey guys, What rear axle does crew Crew Cab SLT short box have? Does any of thes trucks a limited slip or all of them open rear ends?

Depends on engine and options. 6.2's all have 3.42 standard. 5.3's are 3.08 std, 3.42 optional. Max tow comes with 3.73.

 

I can't remember the 4.3 rear, but I seem to recall it's higher. 3.42 maybe?

 

I don't know of any style package or body that dictates the axle ratio.

The locking/limited slip rear option is available on some packages such as the All Terrain. Don't know if it can be had by itself or not. It is nice, I'll give it that.

SLT has standard 5.3L and standard 3.08's, but 3.42 and 3.73 available.

 

3.73 only available on max tow.

 

You can check rpo codes on the label inglove box.

 

GU4 is 3.08

GU6 is 3.42

GT4 is 3.73

not avail on slt, but GU5 is 3.23

my DC 5.3 came with 3.42 limited slip. It's fun on wet roads with a firm push of the right foot, providing of course you turn off the babysitters......

Looking to find my gear ratio on my truck as I am looking to do a gear reduction, I dont have any of the above rpo codes in the glovebox. Is there any other way to find out?
