Hood stripes

Never did the roof. And...nobody ever asked! In person anyway. Right now I don't have them as I just got the truck back from the shop (fender bender) and weather hasn't been good for spraying.

 

Yes, for plasti you normally do several layers. But then the tape tears the dip as you try to remove. This was one heavy coat. I did go over the area about 3 times while it was still wet.

 

 

Thanks for the info. I agree that the roof really isn't needed. I had a Camaro with the stripes on the hood and trunk, but not the roof. I figure if it looked good without it on a car where I can actually see the roof, it wouldn't be necessary on a truck.
