So my wife left our garage open over night and when I woke up my gauge cluster was acting weird. I'm thinking someone tried to break into the truck, but I'm not sure. I took a video of it. If anyone knows what's going on or how to fix it, I could use your help.

Thanks

I'm planning on doing that on Monday. But was hoping there was something else I could do in the mean time.

How cold did it get there last night? Almost acting like a bad battery or ground.

Do you have squirrels at your house? Better look under the hood at all of your wireing, I hope I'm wrong because they made a mess out of my wire harness on my Tacoma, over 1300 for the harness alone+ labor

So I got my truck back this afternoon. They said it needed to be flashed, not sure what caused it but it's fixed now. Thanks for the help guys.

Well the truck is back at the dealership! Not exactly sure what's going on but they think I've got a bad HMI module. Hopefully they can fix it fast!

Have you tried hitting it with palm of your hand?

I tried using my fist and that didn't work! haha

HI. I would like to know what happened to your truck having the gauge cluster issue. My 2015 1500silverado is doing the same thing. I have taken it to the more than six times for the same issue.

I have a 2015 silverado 1500 on lease. Got it December 2014. My lease is up in March. I started having weird things happening like my radio would stop working for a few minutes and then my lights on the panel would go out and come back on. My fuel mileage dropped from 18 to 13 mpg. It was running rough and the transmission felt like it was shifting slow and rough. Then yesterday I was driving along and all of a sudden It slipped out of gear and I couldn't accelerate it just reved up the rpms as I pushed on the gas but I wasn't moving then it kicked back in and drove fine. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the cluster that needed to be replaced and since I was past 36,000 mikes my warranty wouldn't cover it. They charged me 100.00 to diagnose it. I havnt had it fixed yet since the truck isn't very old this should never have happened and I want gm to fix it. I need help anyone k ow what to Do?

Isn't your lease up this month? Why not just turn it back in?
