How do you feel about them rubber weathertech floor mats? Waste of money or good investment? I guess I don't really need it but ten again who knows when they'll have a spill or load something wet and dirty inside? For example a pair of boots.

Honestly it's one of the first investments I buy for a new vehicle. On my sierra they fit very nice and extend onto the threshold to evacuate any liquid out. If you have tan carpet it would be a must IMO. Sometimes u will need to take a heat gun or blow dryer to reshape the mat in spots after they arrive from shipping, but not a big deal just details. The next owner of your truck will thank you.

I have them front and back for my crewcab. I d buy Husky liners if I did it again.

I have them front and back and here is what I will say about them. As others said, the rear fits good but the front seems to not fit quite as good. They fit "pretty" good, but for the price they should fit better. I think if they made them out of a softer compound they would form better.

Now, I bought them because I hunt, have kids, and live where there is a lot of snow. If my truck was a city cruiser in a nice climate state I would NOT get them for sure. When they are installed and you have the doors open the truck looks like an old school base model with vinyl floors! :)

All the hype is just hype. They're just friggin floor mats. Basically a piece of plastic to put your dirty feet on.

I never understood the need for rubber floor mats with the exception of mud. I don't care, let the carpet mats get a little wet. I know I will be in the minority, but just my opinion. I like carpet better most of the time, and keep a rubber mat in the bed for mud when I'm on jobsites, hunting/fishing etc...

Awesome investment. Every vehicle my family or I own has them installed within the first week. Absolutely keeps the interior gorgeous and makes it easy to clean out. Helps to take the worry out of owning a new truck, one less thing you can destroy in it. I would suggest getting some industrial velcro and attaching the door side of each mat to the door sill plate. Heat and time will allow for all of the other edges to form a perfect fit with your interior.

I agree, however in states that use salt, when your floor gets "wet" in the winter by the end of one season your floor is white all around the factory floor mat from salt in the snow and VERY hard to clean out of the carpet.

Based on what I've read about the poor fit issues with the 2014's with the Weathertech's I went with the Husky X-Act's for my fronts. They came in yesterday and fit like they should. I'll probably go with Weathertech in the rear as I've heard the fit is good and it gives full coverage. The X-Acts don't offer that in the rear.

never seen the need for them...if I wanted a work truck looking floor I would have bought a work truck lmao

they look awful to me and no need in saving the truck for the next guy to demolish, that's no fun.

i could see needing them if you were constantly playing in mud, but not this guy.

Have them in the front and back of my crew cab and they fit perfect. 2nd truck I've put them in and couldn't be happier. Until they give me a reason to try another brand, I plan to stick with WeatherTech.
