Been wondering what to do. I think I've got it.

So I had this problem. I have this here fantastic 6.2L under the hood, and no way to let anyone know about it. It's like having a Z06 without a Z06 emblem, sticker, etc. anywhere. Sure, you can argue that it's a sleeper, but what's the fun in that? Some may say it's bragging. Well, it sure is. And fun too. But why is this any more bragging than a Denali badge?

 

So I figured, an emblem would do. Looked around and found this:

 

 

And it was nice. I mean, it got the point across. It says "6.2L", right there.

 

But I dunno. Something was...missing. Somebody could be following me and NOT realize I had this beast under the hood. Heck, somebody could even see me parked at the local Walmart and either miss this tiny little emblem, or see it and not make the connection. I mean, how how sad would that be?

 

So one day it hit me. I know how! I know how I can make a subtle statement that would be undeniable & universally understood, yet tasteful and elegant:

Thats pretty good. Is that your truck? Im wondering cause I wanna ask where that exhaust came from.

Yep, mine. Exhaust is custom. Cut off the muffler, moved the rosonator into its place. Kept the flapper where it was. Added a 3.5" to dual 2" Y after the flapper, duals out the back with Ebay stainless Camaro tips. Zero drone, excellent sound.

Thanks! A bit dirty at the moment, bad weather. They want to soot up a bit, but that's expected on these trucks. I think the square tip works with the "blocky" shape of the truck better than round myself.

The gold tint is just the pic, it's polished stainless. But I thought he was referring to my bling out back!

As much as I hate decals and emblems I wish GM made a cool 6.2 8-speed emblem to go on the truck, its a $2500 option so its the least they could do...

Sadly, yes I plan to drive around with them for a bit. Just for the laugh. You gotta admit this kinda takes the cake.
