What about Black Silverado/Sierra Photos?

I work with mostly women and they all think my truck is black.

 

I would like to see one of these black trucks set up like mine. My GMT-900 was black and I decided to go with the Iridium Metallic this time, all your trucks make me wish I went black!

 

 

Looks great. I have a chevy Tungsten same color. What did you use to match the rest of the truck and remove all of the chrome?

All the chrome on the grille I sanded down, primed and used bed liner on. Third truck i have done it to, holds up great. The mirror covers are paintable ones from GM that I had a buddy paint to match. The window trim and door handles are just the black ones from GM and the headlights I cut apart and painted all the chrome.

Looks awesome. I just had my wheels painted black and have been thinking about having the back bumper and front bumper and grill painted to match.

Finally I was able to wash the truck and get rid of the salt.. Dang winter!

ok lets try this 1 more time! put aftermarket chrome sierra rims on it, and now the stickers gotta go and chrome door handles and mirror caps need to be switched to black

No way.......looks just gorgeous the way it is.....as a matter of fact, a nice set of 4" CHROME tubular step bars would really set it off. I don't know why you would want to de-chrome the truck. In my opinion tons more people will turn and say "wow", was that ever a nice looking truck. I know there are quite a few guys out there that for some strange reason prefer the "so-called clean look". IMHO the "clean look" should be called the "drab" look.

 

Your truck looks great, do you want to remove all the chrome and turn it into something where nobody gives it a second look.

I love the black trucks with the chrome accents. Really sets it off. Wish my AT was black sometimes so I could have kept all the chrome on it, probably would have chosen chrome wheels too.

About midway of having my 98 Z71 (had it from '04 to '14) I wanted a blacked out truck. I finally got a black truck with my '14, but after seeing how good chrome looks with black I decided to keep some of the chrome. I even like the chrome badges. The only chrome I want to change on it now is the bumpers by getting them black chrome. That way they're black but it has the chrome look. Plus it won't be like everybody else's with painted bumpers. I haven't even looked into how much it would cost, but it probably won't happen anytime soon lol.
