Subscribed. Right now I'm debating on trying this. But not sure if they could put my color on a vinyl wrap. Does anyone know if you could get a white diamond tricoat vinyl wrap?

Do it, I'm going to. That WDT Vinyl blackout linked looks good and it's really cheap. If a shop doesn't quote me too much I might just order some and tackle it myself. I'm tired of the the chrome bumpers on my truck. Might even do the mirror caps.

Edit* anyone know how to remove the plastic trim piece on the rear bumper?

Once March hits, I'm pulling the trigger on my A/T Grille and buying some gloss white wrap to tackle the front and rear chrome () bumpers, as well as the grille and window trim. Should look much better when all said and done!

For those who wrapped front and rear bumpers, how much vinyl did you go through? I am debating is 5ft x 10ft would be enough to cover that - i would prefer not to have to bump it up to 5ft x 20ft as I am sure that is overkill

Why 3m?

I wanted to get people opinions on it. I have a friend that is ordering VVivid Vinyl and I'm going to give that a shot. It's cheap enough that if I'm not happy with it, I will redo it.

In my opinion the gloss white option from 3M, Avery, and Oracal are not good matches. It would look like a paint job gone wrong if the bumpers and grill surround were wrapped. I have heard of the Color Lab company that provides colour matched vinyl for this specific purpose, but haven't seen any in person - photos look promising.

I plan to digitally print some white samples myself and see if I can get a good match. I will post if I have any success.
