If your thermostat is working ok you shouldn't need anything like that. What your talking about is mainly used on diesels. I don't let mine set and idle, I just don't drive it hard till I'm out to the main highway.

my 2014 will not warm up at idle if it is below 15c ,will a winter front helpHoiw

How long are you letting it idle for? its' been -10F (-20C) here in Chicago this week. I've found that 10 minutes on remote start gets it slightly warmed up. 10 more consecutive minutes get the engine temp up to about 1/4 on the guage. Warm air in the cabin already pumping too.

Driving is the fastest way to way the vehicle up. I idle it long enough to scrap the windows off and get the oil circulating, then I just start driving.

The winter front won't help at idle as it's to prevent excess cold air moving through the grill once you're driving.

Define "warm up". What coolant temperature?

Drive it after letting it run for a few minutes. Not like, race it but just drive it normal it will warm up fine. Those weather fronts are really diesel engine oriented as they take WAY longer to get up to temp. 8 minutes on a real cold day of run time (5 idle, 3 driving) and the coolant temp gauge is at 210.
