If you don't have a spare battery, the left side is directly accessible without any tools. The passenger side requires that you loosen the hose clamp at the air cleaner box snorkel, push the hose back, unplug the MAF sensor, and yank upward on the air box by the snorkel until the three grommets on the bottom of the air box let loose. Remove the air box from the engine compartment. The rear of the headlights will be directly accessible thru the plastic cap at the rear of the assembly. Access takes less than a minute after you've done it a few times.

Stupid question: unplugging the MAF sensor won't set off any codes, will it?

As long as it's plugged back in before starting, and running the truck you'll have no issues.

Phillips is gonna be your best bet, I don't think toshiba even makes them anymore

Phillips is the only company that makes the bulbs as of now. I got mine thru the Home Depot website.

I got the new bulbs in yesterday. Honestly the hardest part was getting the air filter box back in.

They seem to be much better. How do u find them.

I saw a post where spurshot was talking about them. People said they found them on Home Depot's website. I had to wait a week or so for them to have any in stock, but once they shipped it only took a few days to get them here. It took me about 30 minutes to modify and change them out

I installed them on my truck, but I noticed the beam patter was wonky looking. I took them out right away. Didn't really notice much difference in brightness.

Well thats depressing lol I was hoping for the best with these. Dropping $200+ for Vled right now is making me cry but I really need a headlight upgrade for my sierra!!!

This whole thing about headlight performance has made me wish I could easily use the 7" round "universal" Hella reflectors (E-code pattern) with H4 bulbs. I'd run 90/135w bulbs with beefy upgraded wiring harness with four Hella relays and high-temperature connectors.
