These people are going to cause more harm than good.  They are taking away the police from patroling other areas to calm them down.  This could be a diaster waiting to happen

Idiot's, absolute idiots!  What do they think Bush is gonna do...."Oh wait!!  What was I thinking...you uninformed protestors know more than me and I am wrong.  Silly me!  I will halt this war right now!    

 

Seriously though, they started down at the Federal Building which is down in the south Loop and worked their way over to Lake Shore Drive and then clogged up North Michigan Ave.  This is where they were going to start again today according to Chicago Police.

 

I go sorta the other way to the train station from the north Loop.  I did walk pass a few morons prepping their signs and yelled "KILL EM ALL!....Semper Fi!" as I walked past  

 

What worried me this morning on the way into the Loop from the train station was that the Chicago Police had barricades and a brand spanking new paddy wagon outside Boeing's World HQ's.  If they are planning a rally there this afternoon they will be blocking my direct route down Randolph St. which will PISS ME OFF ALL THE MORE!!!

 

What really fries me is not so much their ill-informed protesting, but the fact that they are going about it all wrong.  You always want to draw attention to your cause, HOWEVER, if you are recruiting for your cause, blocking people whom you're trying to reach on their commute home up north L.S.D. is going to PISS MORE PEOPLE OFF TO YOUR CAUSE!!!  Essentially, you've done nothing more than shoot yourself in the foot.

 

A bunch of guys from the MFBA are planning a "Pro-War" rally down here Saturday to offset these idiots!

Why can't they protest by volunteering at a hospital, Red Cross, or something?  Actually do some good, and not waste their time. (and city/gov. resources)

One of the protestors that was arrested claimed that Chicago Police were hard on them and that they singaled them out.

 

A Police chief came on and said, that the majority of them ARE in fact peaceful and they respect their right to protest.  He then said that however, there are a few in the group that are down right violent about it and from what they said they were gonna do on their websites, Chicago Police took appropriate action.
