The price on those mats appears to be all over the map as of late. While you clearly can't count on CamelCamelCamel to notify you as soon as the price drops (and the price appears to change very quickly), you can still use their monitoring link to see just how volatile the price is.

I'm seriously considering adding a set of these for the front to use outside of the winter months, and I'll use eBay to find a vendor to buy them from. It will take me an extra five minutes of time and I'll have to make a phone call, but I bet I'll be able to get pretty close to that $80 price tag. Plus, since the Amazon mats are fulfilled by Amazon, I won't be paying sales tax with the route I'm going.

This thread needs pictures!! I'm trying to decide between the Husky X-Act or Weatherbeater for the front of my LTZ. I live in Northern Mass and need some serious coverage. My carpet got covered with melted snow and salt with the factory "all-weather" mats!

Husky xact put to good use. Had a little spillage roll back toward the seat once. This was after several days of heavy snow and ice, and many trips into and out of the truck. Went up a steep and very bumpy hill off-road (it's a buddy's driveway but you could call it either way) and had that little bit slip back into the carpet bumping around trying to keep pace to get up the hill through all the snow and ice. Other than that one small incident, they have been carpet savers. Can't say much for my door sills, my work boots have killed those every time I step in the truck.

My thoughts exactly man. I haven't washed them off yet, hoping to get a descent day this weekend to clean then up along with a little mini detail job on the interior.

My Weatherbeater driver's mat took a beating this year with the heavy snow and salt. It sure did a good job keeping my carpet clean and easy to clean up. This passed all my tests and is a good product.

So, I got the Weatherbeater mats for my truck - including the piece to cover the center hump in the front (I don't have the bigger console). I have to say, these current Weatherbeater mats appear to be better made than the ones I've until now.

 

Previously, the WB mats had, essentially, a flat edge that they were molded to. These mats have a little bit of a curl along the edge which adds a lot of rigidity to the edge areas. In the past, the edges of the mats would curl over if you hit them with your feet, but these seem like they will fare much better.

 

I was considering a set of driver/passenger X-Act Contour mats for non-winter use, but these mats look great!

I like the looks and feel of the X-acts a little better than the WeatherBeaters, but the WeatherBeaters provided more coverage so were a better choice for me. Mine have been in for 2 full winters now, and nothing has gotten under them or spilled over any edges. This is Michigan winters, with lots of snow and salt. I run them year 'round in my truck.

Just ordered the WeatherBeaters for my truck should have done it before winter, took a ton of cleaning to get the salt and crud out with the light winter we had this year in Michigan

My x acts arrived a week or so ago. I was just going to use them for winter, but I like them so well, I'm leaving them in year around. I ended up buying them from Amazon for $80.55.
