Differences between Sierra Denali and Silverado High Country?

So far, the reason for not allowing the NHT option for the SD, is due to the mag ride. I'm baffled why the HC would not have it, if you can get it in the LTZ. That's just, well....stupid. Not shocking though, as GM often has mystical reasons for doing stupid things.

 

I double checked the order guide and NHT is 1LT and 1LTZ only. NHT was not offered for 2014 on Denali (before magnetic ride) or HC either. Higher towing and High Country would put you in a 2500hd High Country.

My take, you really like the HC interior and the only way to get that is with a High Country, settling for anything else will leave you with regrets down the road. Believe me I was on the road once.

I believe the mag ride is denali specific for now, My thought is eventually the HC will get it because thats what its geared after, I personally love the HC and may have went that route if it was affordable

No MAGRIDE for chevy trucks. No NHT 3.42 gear for either Denali or HC.

 

That being said here is your differences:

 

GMC has LED daytime running lights. Very cool looking too.

GMC has standard LED bed lights. Chevy it's optional.

GMC has real aluminum dash trim, with Denali being burnished. Chevy and HC is plastic.

GMC has standard heated steering wheel and power pedals on SLT and Denali. Chevy its optional.

GMC Denali has standard 8" Customizable driver info screen, Chevy does not offer it.

GMC Denali has MAGRIDE, HC does not offer it.

 

GMC has indented fender creases for a deeper looking fender. Chevy is normal.

GMC Denali has a unique grill. HC looks similar to lower models.

GMC Denali is the better looking truck.

Denali has Napa leather and Black Wood/brushed trim which is nicer to me than the slt of same year I had. The 15 Denali also should have spray in liner...and a few other small things not mentioned like leather on shifter and chrome handle on center console lid.

Color matched. Not a fan of chrome that you make contact with anyways. Normally leave residue from my hand on there and I'm always wiping it off so it doesn't look all smudged
