How to install halos in LED pods

Recommended Posts

hey all, I have been searching the inter webs and this forum for a few weeks now and can't really find a how to for installing a square halo into an offroad LED light pod. If anyone could help me that would be great and pictures would help even more. I plan to do this myself since I have decided to do my headlight work myself as well

If it helps, I have LEDconcepts halos and a Rigid Industries DOT approved pod. I am also debating on putting some in my Driving pods that are under my rear bumper that will illuminate red with the running lights but still not sure if I want to do that

also if there is a better place for this topic to be so it can be seen by more members then if a moderator could be so kind to move it there, it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

i don't think they will fit in the rigids..i talked to him about this and he wasn't sure, they only fit in the ones he sells.. the inner housing of the rigids touches the lens so there is no space in there unless you cut them up..

I'm pretty sure that LED concepts doesn't sell light bars my friend. They sell light bar halos but not bars themselves and if they do then I am completely missing them on their website. I know Phil at fastheadlights said that he could install them and I was going to have him do it but that was when I was planning to send my headlights to him as well. I think I may have found a friend of a friend that can install them or at least tell me how. He does backlighting in lighters and what not and so a halo isn't much different.

yea it seems your right..i thought he did sell those..haha but none the less the halos wont fit unless you cut up the housing..thats on my rigid hyper spots atleast..

id pull the cover/lens off and see if there is enough room to fit the halo in yours, if there is then they would be super easy to install. i have a set of the led concept halos in my sierra headlights and its very straight forward to install..
