morrislee Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I bought a set of All Terrain badge rubber mats, I love the look of them. Except, they have garbage coverage. Here is some tested results, I am liking them so far, I may extend more. Once I am done and happy with the extension, I will caulk the underside of the seams with silicon to be completely waterproof. Small piece of extension on the driver side, I wonder why they left out a big chunk of space where my foot spends majority of the time sucking gas Close up look Passenger side looks pretty slick, I noticed people extend their foot more than they bring them in under the seat, working well so far! They are stainless bolts with nuts on the other side, I punched the holes with a smaller holed hole puncher I got the rubber mat to cut from from RONA(Local hardware store in Canada eh?), the mats were designed for gym equipment to sit on from anti sliding or digging into the floor finish. It was $10 bucks for a roll I think. Originally, I only had them glued with silicon, but they came off right away. I think the bolts turned out a lot better than I have expected!
The Zip Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 It would have looked a bit cleaner if you would have sunk the bolts and dropped black silicon to fill the space. Either way, good job.

What do you mean? countersink the holes? I kind of like the bolts sticking out look lol WeatherTech I dont like those, and they have other logos. main reason I like these because they have the all terrain logos that matches my badges
Bonker Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I am not a logos fanatic I just care about protection

I need to go buy more bolts though. I have always liked the carpet look, so I dont want to hide it at all. Carpet gives it premium feel
The Zip Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 yeah, that's what I meant. As long as you like it, that's the only thing that matters
