ConnRadd for the last few weeks I have been following your posts on here because our orders are very similar. I ordered around the same date you did, it was built the 13th, and I will receive it next week sometime.

I was getting really impatient wondering why it wasn't built or when would I get it. And because I am too timid to call and bug my sales person I just kinda told my husband "It will get here when it gets here" and then internally scream with frustration! And then I saw your posts and knew we were in the same boat so I just figured my order would be similar to yours. So now that it's almost done I just wanted to thank you for helping me get through these VERY rough weeks.

Also, I would wait until May 1 to pick it up. I have some insider information that advised me to wait as well.

I've been told most of my life that patience is virtue, which I have gained "some" over the years. I normally don't get overly excited about a new vehicle, but for reason, this GMC has me pumped. So with the combination of excitement and about to spend near $50k on a truck, I'm wanting to get answers. Lol

Wife and I built a house a few years ago, that almost drove me insane. Was a roller coaster ride that was fun to experience, but can take a lot out of you.

Thank you for taking the time for this post. Hopefully y'all's truck comes in sooner than later and it's everything you two expected. I'll do my best to take your birdy's advice and wait until May, but I'll be honest, that will be a challenge for me...lol

I just asked the sales manager. Like I mentioned, I work at the dealership so while one of the managers was getting some accessories I mentioned it to her since my salesman kept walking by, "still haven't got an answer yet." The manager sent me a text literally 5 min after asking, lol. I mean, hell, I work here, don't give me the run around right? so its not just the public that gets the run around...

No, I just went through our regular sales department and they adjusted the price from there.

I've never been on that site before but being in Canada, when I go to the "Build/Price" section it wants me to put in a zip code and won't accept my postal code anyways. I'm thinking that's an American thing.

Got the call this morning that my truck is waiting at the dealership for me. I'm not picking it up until next Friday, so now I'm REALLY going crazy. Gah!

Pre Delivery Inspection. Dealer goes through the truck, checks fluids, sets tire pressure, washes it, etc.

No, I basically received a vague answer. Either tonight or tomorrow the truck will be in. I'm sure I'll have to wait a day or so they can do their PDI. Hopefully by this weekend, I'll be showing her off..

Oops,sorry! My husband works for GM so I just get used to the lingo. Yes, it means Pre Delivery Inspection. No matter what, you'll have it this weekend!
