2014 sierra. How to take off lower grille/cover?

Anyone with info on how to take off the bottom grille ? Wanna replace with Denali chrome. Praying I don't have to take off the bumbler.

You mean the anthracite colored thing that is by the tow hooks?

 

If you do, then sorry to tell you but you will need to remove the bumper man. But it's really not all that bad.

It's not easy can be done with the right tools. Go under the truck and remove the front bumper balance( the black plastic under bumper) it has roughly 15 - 10mm screws so you can access the 3 - 10mm screws in between the lower grill that are bolted to bumper, then each tow hook has a plastic surrounding with 4 - 7mm screw holding the bottom grill to bumper as well ( these are a pain in the ass) but can be done with a ratchet wrench. There are roughly another 7-10 -7mm from the grill that are easy accessible and that's it. Hope this helps you some! ?

So, when you say "from the grill" do you have to remove the horizontal body colored piece between the front bumper and grill? And you don't need to remove the grille, right? Thanks

No , what I meant to say the 7-10 -7mm screws are coming off the bottom grill or plastic however you want to call it. There's no need to remove any other body parts from the truck. The hardest part again is to remove the screws surroundig the plastic off the tow hooks
