Just an FYI, GM shop manual advises that that hub nut is a one time use job. It has a lining of loc-tite or something. When I've done my hubs I've always heeded that advise and replaced that hub nut with a new one. It's not all that expensive.

Could be, but I'm still using the same nut on each side since new. I do loctite them when re-installing. Haven't had any issues with the hub nut so far.

Where do you even get a new one at?

I figured. I've never seen one anywhere else. As much as a good hub is it ought to come with the freakin thing.
