Like the title says I'm thrilled to be here!I'm new to this forum, to trucks in general, and to the Chevy family. Hopefully this truck will be the beginning of a long awesome ride (pun intended). My first question for you guys is what kind of running boards would work well with the double cab. I figured I could get a better deal on eBay than letting the dealer up sell me for 700 bucks. Also as far as bed liners go, any good recommendations? I've heard line-x or rhino liner is good. Thanks guys!

Gritty id say, it's good though because you don't slip at all. I have no bed liner currently and when it's wet its dangerous

I have had both. Rhino liner is more rubbery and linex is a little harder. Price is about the same. Both will last a lifetime and are good products. FWIW I went with linex on my last 2 trucks

Welcome from Louisiana. I have the Line-X on my truck and glad I went with it. It is gritty and seems to keep things from sliding around a lot. I also have a double cab and I went with Westin HD step bar which worked best for me since I have a 4" lift. You can go to my Gallery to see what they look like.

The only reason I'm hesitant to go with line-x is I don't want everything I throw in the bed to get scratched to hell. We garage sale a lot and I'd hate to put nice furniture in the bed and it get all messed up before my dog gets a hold of it lol

Welcome aboard. I've got a spray liner from a local company here and if I ever have to move anything I'm worried about, I'll use this plush futon cover my brother had which is some sort of flannel or some moving blankets.

Awesome truck man! Thanks for the link. I love the blacked out look on the gmc's. As soon as I get some time to post pictures I will. Between a new puppy and work....it may be a little while.
