Hope you don't have issues down the road. Towed similar with less miles on a new one and had ring gear/pinion whine for the life of ownership. NEVER AGAIN. I'm putting at least a K on my '15 before I hook to anything substantial.

I started towing at 750 miles and no noise to this day. Almost 14k miles

I was a little concerned but really don't think the truck is any worse off. When asking advice from my 76 year old father and 70 year old father in law I got the same answer......use it! My dad is spent most of his life working for General Motors and my father in law farms 3,000 plus acres. His advise is " break it in like you will use it.....it always served me well":) How can you argue with 146 years of experience! Oddly enough, when I asked the same question of my dealer he gave the same response and said "its under warranty isn't it"?

Curious how the truck is overall. I should be getting mine within a week. Are you experiencing any of the most numerous issues posted on the forum? Vibrations at certain speeds? Transmission sluggishness/clunking?

The truck is about 2 weeks old with 1,000 miles and it has zero issues of any kind. Awesome truck. Chances are very much in your favor that your truck will be equally flawless. Keep in mind that many people on this forum found it due to having a problem. I look forward to your response when you get it. I am sure you will love it.

Knock on wood but I have a 2014 NHT with the 6.2 and haven't had any issues either. Got some little bubbles or blemishes in the front windhsield but I suspect it's from the insane chemical they use here in KY for the winters, overall I couldn't be more happy with mine. I do have the 6 speed though, I kinda expected the 8 speeds to have some growing pains so I made sure to get a 14 but I'm sure GM will get a handle on it.
