They didn't ask me anything about the oil changes. They just took her in and one of the guys there had the audacity to tell me that all he knew was it sounded really bad when they tried to fire her up.

Did you get back on the road?

Oh yeah a while ago, didn't you ask me in another thread? Might've been someone else don't remember. The process was smooth and quicker than I thought, just had to stay on them with the phone calls here and there so they didn't slack off.

Feels a little slow compared to before, I had a tune on it though so that might be it. Other than that so far so good.

Did they even inquire about the tune? Sounds like u had no headache with trying to get it warranted even though it was tuned or did they just not see the tune?

This information is more important that the water in oil as far as I'm concerned. I know dealers can see if tuned for a fact. Im just curios if they even looked... Or if it has the Diablo that is suppose to be hidden.

Sorry for the late reply, I had it tuned by a friend that used wait4meperformance tuning. It's custom tuning, although I'm not sure what quality they are compared to someone like blackbear. Before I brought the truck in I had the tune removed and they checked it and said it was fine. I haven't put the tune back on though just to be on the safe side. For a custom tune I wasn't thrilled with it just because I wasnt 100% sure what I was getting. I'm gonna hold off on tuning for a while til I get some blackbear tuning & to make sure the truck runs fine obviously.

Interesting.... They have been around a while but you must live somewhere close to them to get a custom tune because I think they primarily do mail order stuff.

What puzzles me even more about this is that I'm almost positive that they use EFI Live. Somebody else might chime in...

My buddy tunes a lot of trucks around here. Mostly diesels, Duramax's, Powerstrokes & Cummins. But he said he could get a tune for mine, he uses his Autocal. When I asked him who the tune was coming from he said it was from the guys at Wait4MePerformance. I sent them my stock file, they adjusted it and sent it back to him. He installed it onto my truck and well the rest was history.

That verifies me thinking that they use EFI Live. Thanks for update.
