Old New Silverado

Hello mates,

I been lurking here at gm-trucks finding much information and members helping eachother, thought it was time to register at this amazing site.

Me...My 1996 Silverado 1500 HD Ext Cab was my first new truck purchase. We had a relationship together (according to my wife) and as the years went by taking a toll on both of us, I decided to pull the trigger and replace her...gradually.

Just purchased a new 2015 Silverado 1500 Double LT Z71 and was quite amazed at all that has changed since the 96. I have not kept up on the trucks but when the new 2014+ body platform came out, I did indeed like the looks of them.
