Interior Rattles

This is my 4th Silverado, and my second new generation Silverado. When I got the truck I felt that this was the tightest truck I've owned yet. However it seems like overnight the interior rattles got exceptionally worse. I think it's coming from the grab handles mounted to the headliner. As if the springs aren't very tight and the handles are hitting the base. For whatever reason the noise is driving me crazy. I've been thinking of placing some felt or soft padding between the handle and the base. Anyone else notice a rattle?

No, but my AMP retractable step on the driver's side rattles against its stop on rough pavement. Drives me nuts.

Welcome to the rattle club. Lol. I'm on my second 14 due to the first one being a buy back. Both of them rattled for me but the second one is a lot less.

If it is a little tick tick noise when hitting bumps open up your sunglass holder in the over head there is a little plastic clip looking thing that you can flip back and fourth with your finger that will make the noise, remove it with a pair of needle noise plyers the door will still function normal and I have no reason why its there as it does nothing. I chased that problem for about a month till I found it.

There is a thread around here on it but I did the search function and it couldn't find it, never had much luck with the search function.

Chuck,

There was a thread on here a while back about the AMP mounting bolts loosening over time. I only had mine on about 2 months and I went and checked and sure enough all but one were loose. The consensus was it can happen more than once or twice so add it to your maintenance list. If you can hear it rattling, you may want to check them.

I've had my 15 Denali back to the dealership no less than three times for various noises and rattles. They seem to get them most of the time and hopefully that's the end of it. All done under warranty thankfully but you'd think a $70K vehicle would have a little more pride and care put into it during assembly.

I second the sunglasses holder. Easy fix.took care of nearly all my problems.
