Who uses E85?

Ever since I got my 15 Sierra i have not used anything other than the E85 blend on it except for the gas it came with from the delear. Just wondering how many of you guys use nothing but e85? The truck pulls hard for what it is and love it. The mpgs stay at around high 16s and over 20 on the highway according to the truck.

if you use the search you'll see a couple of E-85 threads. I use it exclusively in my '14. The controversy from those who don't or won't run it is interesting.

I've been running it for the last 3 tanks. Love the power but the MPG is terrible.

It'd have to be 75% the price of 87 (which it isn't here) to break even. And you have to stop for gas more.

Well, my truck is an alcoholic. It had two tankfuls of 93-octane and I said, "Screw this $h1t!". To emphasize the point, I can get 93-octane gasoline, sometimes, cheaper than E85 due to a certain fuel reward program.

I'll wait until it hits below $3 for me to justify the loss of mpg, Southern California gets hit hard on gas prices. Don't know why E85 fluctuates like regular gas...But w/e

Nope it has seen -10 (-25 windchills). My catch can pulls more moisture but it's normal
